The Ozone Instinct Edge II has 7 narrow diameter struts and progressive leading edge give the Edge its higher performance characteristics. These design features make for a faster, more aerodynamic kite which gives The ozone Instinct Edge II more POWER. Main improvements this year we would say are better feeling in the bar, especially through the jumps (there is more depower in the bar so better feeling of control) kites are even faster than last year (try the 7m and you will see what we mean).
And, they jump even easier now.
This is our kite of choice. The Ozone Instinct Edge II design keeps within the feel of the Instinct family, with it's gust control and huge wind range yet it has the potential to take the rider to the next level and beyond. With the ability to spend more time in the air the rider will have more time to master tricks, hooked in or unhooked. For those interested in full on speed, the Edge will see you reaching that 50knot barrier!

To compliment the 08 range we spent over one year creating a D-Power Loop that has an array of features for ease of use for all levels of riders and combined it with new composite bar ends. Hugh Pinny our new in-house design engineer has created a complete control system that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
Features of the Instinct Edge 2 II:
• Aerodynamic Leading edge scuff pads = Light therefore keeping weight off the leading edge which is very important for better performing kites
• Narrow optimally designed diameter leading edge tube and struts = strong structure and less “parasitic drag” as kite cuts through the air.
• New Tip Shape for a faster turn and to also give a more constant pressure throughout the D-Power range
• Direct Line to Kite feel – no pulleys in Kite or bar
• 2:1 depower trim strap which gives each model a constant feel from normal trim to full depower using the smooth clamcleat Trimmer Strap. For 08 3-way rings made in highest grade 316 Stainless
• New 08 Stopper ball for the safety flag out line so that the bar does not shoot up the lines to far when emergency final safety release is activated. (span width of kite)
