If you're looking for the ultimate kitesurfing harness you can't get anything better than the Ride Engine. During the design process RE crew took moulds and scans of over 500 people's backs to find a fit that will work for every rider. The back Armour Shell is made out of premium composites for the ultimate durability and support. It also helps the harness to maintain its structure. No matter what pressure it won't cave in. This means the Ride Engine harness will dispense the load amongst your whole back. Which translates directly into longer sessions - purely because you will be so much more comfortable during your time on the water.
It's moulded specifically to fit into your lumbar. It locks into your body's natural curves holding the Ride Engine in place. And when we say it locks in - it really locks in! As opposed to other harnesses that simply wrap around you, the Ride Engine won't twist, won't ride up - it will stay in one place, that is around your lumbar.
Also, getting in and out of the Ride Engine harness is a breeze. Especially in the cold waters as we have in Scotland. There's no two pressure points that you somehow have to squeeze with your frozen fingers (like on the Mystic clickerbar). There's only a large, lightweight tube that you pull over to get in and it's just as easy to get out. Makes a difference after a long session no matter where you ride.
The word "game-changer" is getting a bit abused of late but this time you can't sum this up in any other way. The Ride Engine is the ultimate, game-changing kitesurfing harness out there. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call, we're always happy to help!
