Nia Suardiaz: The Grand Champion of Tarifa

Spain’s Nia Suardiaz, the reigning Surf-Freestyle World Champion, further solidified her dominance with a triumphant performance at the GWA Wingfoil World Cup during the Tarifa Wing Pro, held in her hometown. The 17-year-old celebrated her victory in the Surf-Freestyle event in front of a supportive local crowd, just weeks after her win in France.
This latest achievement places her in a commanding position at the midway point of the season's four-event schedule.

In the women’s Surf-Freestyle final, Nia corrected her earlier semi-final misstep by starting strong with a 7.33 score for a Backflip, maintaining her lead to achieve a total score of 19.86 out of 30. Mar de Arce initially looked promising with a strong start but ultimately finished in third place. The results were as follows:
