Duotone Rebel SLS - 2022 Kitesurfing Kite

Duotone Rebel SLS is one of the most iconic kites in the industry. The Big Air machine that never disappoints. Now in the new SLS construction for 2022. We were so stoked to get our hands on this kite - it's lofty like nothing else, has just the right amount of bar pressure and, what feels like an endless hang time.

What's surprising though is that Rebels of the past weren't the fastest kites and this new iteration feels divine when being put through the loops. To an extent where we've seen some of the strapless freestyle and big air kitesufers moving onto Rebel SLS as it loops so effortlessly with one hand it's incredibly easy to control.

The depower on the 2022 Rebel SLS is pretty spectacular too - both on the bar throw and through the depower rope or via Click Bar. Being able to ditch almost all the power even in strong winds adds to the general ease of use of this kite. It's still a very much sheet-and-go machine that anyone can fly - from absolute beginners to advanced riders looking for the best possible big air kite on the market.

Thanks to weight reduction achieved by using Penta TX material, the kite feels faster through the turns and provides more power on the low end. The Trinity TX canopy makes the kite rigid even in very gusty conditions boosting riders' confidence when flying high, throwing loops and tricks.
