While we strive for excellence, we acknowledge that unforeseen factors may affect the longevity of certain units. Therefore, we strongly advise inspecting your Trust Bar.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The V-Distributor plays a crucial role in directing the frontlines to diverge at a specified juncture. Within the Trust Bar, the V-Distributor is connected to the left front line via a screw mechanism. Meanwhile, the right front line, passing through the V-Distributor opening, is fortified in the contact region by a sleeving. However, this sleeving may contribute to heightened wear around the V-Distributor due to friction between the protected line and the sleeving material. Consequently, the line's integrity may be compromised, potentially leading to breakage.

IS MY DUOTONE TRUST BAR AFFECTED?

Elevated wear may manifest in all Trust Bars from SS23 onwards (serial numbers: 23-XXXXX or 24-XXXXX). Early signs of wear can be detected upon inspection. Please scrutinize this area for any visible damage to the sleeving.

In response, all existing inventory has been updated with a new design. Updated bar boxes are identifiable by a blue dot, and a grey "Connector Line" is visible along the right front line in the V-Distributor vicinity.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I OBSERVE WEAR ON THE SLEEVING?

Should you notice any signs of wear, it's imperative to promptly replace the affected right frontline. For bars already in use, we strongly recommend replacing both frontlines, as the length of the left frontline may have altered over time. Even if wear isn't yet evident but you harbor concerns about the current design, rest assured, you'll still receive a complimentary replacement set!
